Timeline & Achievements

2018
The beginning
With a capital of just IDR 3MIO, Celine curated the first few pieces from Taiwan and sold them through WhatsApp.
This year was also the year BYDJO was featured by Instagram and GOJEK for their Instagram Business launch (#InstaMarket) in Indonesia. We showcased products in Gelora Bung Karno.

2019
Small changes
By now, BYDJO has focused on launching new items every launch. This requires a lot of research and develop, a lot of connecting with suppliers and makers. In 2019, we have designed our very first hard box. After a handful of rejections from big printing companies who would not take our project because of the small quantity, we found a small printing house in Bandung and have been working with them ever since.

2020
Website launch
After years of taking orders through WhatsApp (and many countless mistakes in inventory count ), Celine decided to work on building BYDJO's website during the pandemic. It was a time when she felt she really needed to think which direction she wanted to take.
BYDJO has since blossomed at the hands of a tiny team with a bright vision, BYDJO currently have 3 on-call employees and Celine's driver who's been helping her send packages since 2018 is still with me!
2020 and beyond...

2021
Refocusing
2021 was a downtime for us as trends and lifestyles changed. Celine also ventured out and worked as a fashion advisor, specializing in luxury brands, at one of the US top retailers. Bringing the knowledge she has learnt, she gave styling tips and discussed fashion on BYDJO's Instagram.

2022-2023
Circling Back
2023 was the year Celine shifted her focus back to BYDJO. Going back to her regular schedule of sourcing in different parts of the world. We also revamped our website once again to provide a clearer aesthetic, better pictures and even more accurate information needed. We've also added the 'Preview' function where customers can see the items that will be launching. In 2023, we also joined our first market (after covid) in April.

2024
10,000 orders
BYDJO was recognized by Shopify for completing 10,000 orders on our website. We now display the trophy at our office to remind us that every package shipped matters and that our customers have played a big part in achieving this goal.
We promise to pack and ship every order with utmost care and attention. It's because of this promise that our customers keep coming back.
